Lechner & Associates was founded by Dr. David Lechner in 1979 in Sarasota, Florida, as a Management Recruiters International franchise.
The firm’s current owner and president, Lisa Bull, joined in 1999. Lisa started as an Account Executive, and quickly established herself as a top biller and leader in the firm. When David Lechner retired in 2003, Lisa purchased the business and continues to serve as president, functioning in a hands-on role serving both the firm’s established and new clients.
Prior to joining the firm, Lisa worked in retail industry management for several domestic and European apparel brands. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 1990 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Russian and Soviet and East European Studies.
Lisa is also the President and Founder of Bull & Company, LLC, a training and speaking organization that helps individual professionals and corporations to “achieve more without adding more.”
Lisa has been a guest presenter at Society of Actuaries’ conferences and meetings, as well as requested author for SOA and other publications.
